NEBOSH International OHS Certificate Program

Based on the point that most occupational accidents and diseases can be prevented by an effective occupational health and safety management, NEBOSH (National Examination Board of Occupational Safety and Health) offers the Certificate Program.
This certificate has been accredited by IOSH as it meets the technical membership requirements of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Certificate holders can also apply to the joint membership of the International Institute of Risk and Security Management (IIRSM).

The International Certificate Program consists of two compulsory units.
  • Unit 1. Health and Safety Management
  • Unit 2. Risk Assessment
• You have access to online training for 12 months.
• When you start the course, we enrol you as a student with NEBOSH. Your initial enrolment period lasts for 5 years. This means that you must pass your first unit within 5 years. If you fail to pass your first unit within 5 years, you will need to re-enrol and pay another registration fee. When you pass your first unit, your enrolment period is automatically re-set and you have a further 5 years to pass the remaining unit.

The language of instruction and examination will be English for candidates applying to the English program, and the language of education and examination will be Turkish for candidates applying to the Turkish program.
Candidates who will apply to the English program are recommended to be at Level 6 according to the English Language Test System (IELTS).
• IG1: Open book examination taking online.  
• IG2: Workplace-based risk assessment task completed in your own workplace
• Textbooks and digital resources will be accessible throughout the exam process. The online exam must be completed within 24 hours from the start time.

The NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) program is run by the British Safety Council who are approved by NEBOSH. The British Safety Council work in conjunction with Doğa HSE who act as an exclusive delivery partner for the British Safety Council in Turkey.   

Candidates are expected to have an adequate level of literacy and mathematical skills.
